概要 翻訳
The Empire are the remnants of a technologically advanced interstellar empire‚ or of one section of it‚ originating from the glitterworld Sophiamunda that have fled from a great calamity․ They are organized in a feudal hierarchy nominally headed by a far-off Emperor‚ however‚ due to the lack of faster-than-light travel‚ much of true day to day power is held by the Stellarchs who have dominion over their entire star system․ Note that despite interstellar travel being generally slow and requiring cryptosleep to be feasible‚ the star systems of the Empire at its height are implied to have been relatively close together as stellarchs would expect years or decades between visits from the Emperor‚ not generations․ As there were implied to be multiple stellarchs‚ its unlikely that trips to the systems required decades of travel time․
