The Monastery was my home away from home in Seattle WA․ Circa 1978-84․ It had 2 2000 watt Phase Linear amplifiers that pumped out 2000 watts of bass through these giant bass reflex speakers․ You could hear it in the concrete outside the old wooden church․ The man that ran it was an ordained minister of the Unviersal Life Church․ Just a phony mail order ministry so he could claim no taxes․ It was a haven for underage gay youth‚ runaways‚ and street kids․ They burned frankincense and myrth in the furnace‚ and your clothes reaked of it․ The minister said it was so you'd know where you had been the night before I added Fireworks outside that you can turn off and on by a panel on the wall․ There are other optons as well․ Fireworks by Noriben․․
