Marine Corps Air Station Miramar （MCAS Miramar） is a United States Marine Corps installation that is home to the 3rd Marine Aircraft Wing‚ which is the aviation element of the I Marine Expeditionary Force․ It is located in Miramar‚ a community of San Diego‚ California‚ about 14 miles （23 km） north of downtown San Diego․ The Blue Angels‚ formally named the U․S․ Navy Flight Demonstration Squadron‚ are a flight demonstration squadron of the United States Navy․ Formed in 1946‚ the unit is the second oldest formal aerobatic team in the world․ This world is made for the VRC Blue Angels‚ and not made for any other team․
