Sunny day real estate is a band from Seattle WA․ The band was formed in 1992 with the first members being Nate Mendel‚ William Goldsmith and Dan Horner․ They started as just a trio with Dan as the frontman․ Until Dan and Goldsmith asked Jeremy enigk‚ a high school friend of theirs to join this new band to play guitar and do vocals․ Jeremy became the frontman of the new band known as - Sunny day real estate․ After sometime they recorded their first album -＂Diary＂ with the label Sub-Pop Records․ After Diary‚ they started touring from 1994 to 1995․ At their last show at the Black Cat in DC‚ a young Dave grohl was in the crowd and he loved the rhythm section‚ after the show he spoke to Goldsmith and Nate to join the band․ They both agreed and joined the well known （and overrated band imo） ＂Foo Fighters＂․ They played for awhile until Goldsmith ＂left＂ the band after Dave redid the drums on the album they were working on behind his back ＂The Color And The Shape＂- Goldsmith rejoined SDRE in 1997‚ the band reunited in the same year but Nate Mendel stayed with the Foo's․ They made another album called ＂How It Feels To Be Something On＂․ They toured and dropped more albums for a few years before breaking up in 2005․ In 2009 they reunited for the last time with Nate Mendel back in the mix․ He left the band again in the same year‚ Goldsmith‚ Jeremy and Dan stayed and kept touring for years to come‚ （they're still touring at the date when im writing this again for the second time 10⁄19⁄24 4˸08PM MST）․ I rewrote this since when I reread the first version it sucked ass so yea‚ enjoy․ - nastyraine
